Zeekr X's Design Revealed: A Geely SEA-Based Electric Vehicle Heading Towards Europe
Zeekr X, an electric vehicle based on Geely's SEA platform, is set to make its way towards Europe, following its design reveal earlier this month. The Smart #1 and Volvo EX30 also use the same platform, making the specs listed on the Chinese Ministry of Transport and Information Technology's website not a surprise.
The Zeekr X is 4.45 meters long, 1.84 meters wide, and 1.57 meters high, with a wheelbase of 2.75 meters, matching that of the Smart #1. However, it is slightly longer and wider, weighing 1,840 kg.
The drivetrain of the Zeekr X is identical to the Smart, coming in two versions - an AWD configuration with two motors, producing 428hp, and a RWD version with a single 272hp motor. Both options come with a 66kWh battery pack. When the Volvo EX30 launches later this year, we expect it to share the same motor options and battery capacity as these two vehicles.
