Genesis to Assemble Electrified GV70 in US
Genesis, the luxury automotive brand from South Korea, is set to assemble the Electrified GV70 in its Montgomery, Alabama manufacturing facility for the US market. This will be the first Genesis model to be assembled in the US and marks the brand's expansion outside of its home country.
Advanced and Prestige Trims with Standard Safety Features
The Electrified GV70 comes in two trims - Advanced and Prestige - with the former priced at $65,850 and the latter at $72,650. Both trims come with a suite of safety and driver assistance systems, an 8-inch digital cluster, a 14.5" HD navigation screen, and vehicle-to-load charging. The Prestige trim adds premium features such as Nappa leather seating surfaces, microfiber suede headliner, and a 3D instrument cluster.
The Electrified GV70 has a total power output of 435 horsepower from its dual motors, with 700 Nm torque, and is equipped with a 77.4 kWh battery, panoramic sunroof, and 20" wheels. Genesis has assured potential customers that more details regarding availability in the US will be revealed closer to the launch date.
